Dr. Kriti Sood achieved her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Immunology & Biology from the University of Miami in 2016 before obtaining her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2021. Following this, she completed a post-doctoral program in general dentistry at Overlook Medical Center, Summit, in 2022.

Driven by a deep sense of empathy, Dr. Sood prioritizes her patients’ well-being above all else. Her guiding principles revolve around enhancing humanity through innovation, dedication, and compassion. Outside of her practice, she finds joy in dancing, exploring new cultures through travel and cuisine, and cherishing moments with her family. Melinda Bedjan is a registered dental hygienist from Yonkers, NY. She graduated from the Fones School of Dental Hygiene in 2002 and has been practicing dental hygiene since then. Melinda’s favorite aspect of being a dental hygienist is helping her patients improve their overall dental health and celebrating their achievements together. She is also a bartender and enjoys gardening and home improvements as hobbies outside of work. Patients would describe her as kind, informative, patient, thorough, and gentle.

Meet Nuvia Crespo, the dental hygienist with a passion for healthy smiles and building strong relationships with her patients. Originally from Puerto Rico and now residing in the Bronx, NY, Nuvia began her journey in dentistry at Hostos Community College, where she graduated in 2007.

Nuvia’s scope of practice includes Throgs Neck, Hastings on Hudson, Scarsdale, and general and pediatric dentistry. She loves educating her patients on the importance of oral health and helping them achieve their best possible smile. But for Nuvia, being a dental hygienist is about much more than just cleaning teeth. She cherishes the connections she makes with her patients and takes pride in being a friendly, approachable face they can trust.

Meet Dr. Ali Hedayati, the periodontist with a passion for helping people achieve healthy smiles. Born and raised in Briarcliff Manor, NY, Dr. Hedayati has always been driven to make a difference in the world of dentistry. After graduating from NYU College of Dentistry in 1986, he completed a year of general practice residency and two years of periodontics specialty training, honing his expertise in periodontics, implants, and oral surgery.

Dr. Hedayati is a proud member of the American Academy of Periodontics and has been recognized for his outstanding contributions to the field. But what really sets him apart is his dedication to his patients. He believes in taking the time to get to know each patient as a person, not just a dental case. His warm and approachable manner has earned him a reputation as a dentist who truly cares about his patients’ well-being.

In addition to his language fluency in English, French, and Persian, Dr. Hedayati has a passion for the great outdoors. When he’s not at work, you might find him hitting the slopes, swimming, or hiking in the beautiful New York countryside. Nassim Khataie is a compassionate and skilled dentist with over 20 years of experience. Born and raised in Tehran, Iran, Nassim attended Said Behesti University and the University of Toronto, where she obtained her dental degrees in 2001 and 2006, respectively. She specializes in a range of dental treatments, including preventative, restorative, cosmetic procedures, and prosthodontics. Nassim completed a General Residency Program at Montefiore Medical Center and Chief Residency PGY, which deepened her expertise in the field. Patients describe her as caring, personable, and gentle-handed, and Nassim enjoys developing ongoing relationships with them to achieve their dental goals. When she’s not working, Nassim enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

An Israeli-born dentist and married with three children, Dr. Markovitch started his training in general and cosmetic dentistry over 20 years ago in Israel. He continued his training in the United States at Eastman Dental Center in Rochester, NY, as well as in countless continuing education courses on the latest advancements in dentistry. Always smiling and happy, Dr. Markovitch believes that informed patients are better prepared to make the right decision regarding their oral health and well-being, so he takes his time to make patients feel welcome and understand what options are available in modern dentistry.
Dr. Shay Markovitch is a certified Invisalign® and Lumineers® provider. Utilizing his skills to create beautiful smiles for his patients is one of his priorities because he believes that a smile is a mirror to the soul. When not performing dentistry, Dr. Markovitch enjoys sports, specifically soccer and basketball; however, he usually prefers to spend his time with his wonderful wife and three children.
